Pastor
Pastor Jackson is a native of Houma, LA. He was introduced to Jesus Christ by his late parents, Southern and Daisy Jackson.
He has been married to the love of his life, Julhelene “Betsy†Jackson; they are the proud parents of six children and three amazing grandchildren.
Pastor Jackson is proud of his military service as a United States Army Reservist.
In 1998 Reverend Jackson answered the call to enlist in the Lord’s service as a Proclaimer of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He has attended Union Baptist College and Theological Seminary in New Orleans, LA, World Evangelism Bible College in Baton Rouge.
Ordained by the Eastern Seventh District Missionary Baptist Association while serving under as the Youth Pastor at the Disciples Baptist Church. Rev. Jackson’s service as a Youth Pastor positioned and prepared him for his current assignment as the Pastor of the Macedonia Baptist Church of the Belaire Cove Community of Ville Platte, LA. Pastor Jackson is an award-winning chef; he has spent over 35 years in the food service industry, most recently as an executive chef, food service consultant, and restaurant owner/operator. Currently he is employed with the Evangeline Parish School System in its Child Nutrition Program as a Field Training Manager. His passion for food is surpassed only by his passion for God and the work of the Kingdom.
Pastor Jackson’s primary objective in life is to develop a fellowship of Christian believers through the teaching of God’s Word for the primary purpose of leading the lost to Christ while strengthening one another.
